Below is a list of homeschool support groups throughout the state of Idaho. It is divided into three groups: Northern Idaho Area; Eastern Idaho Area; and Boise Area. If you have organized a group of Christian homeschoolers and would like to be included in this list, please send the information to CHOIS.

Bonner County Christian Home Educators
We are an open homeschool co-op made up of Christian families in the Sandpoint, ID area, and we welcome new members. We meet on Monday mornings over two different ten week sessions (Sept. through Nov. and Jan. through March) at Sandpoint Assembly of God Church. Classes are offered for Kindergarten through twelfth grade, and a nursery/preschool exists to accommodate our littlest ones as well. Parents are encouraged to participate in a book study, to fellowship or pray with other adults, or to be encouraged by homeschool veterans when they are not teaching or helping with a class.

Homeschool Organization of Parent Educators (HOPE of the Palouse)
Moscow/Pullman and surrounding areas
HOPE of the Palouse is a Christian Support Network for homeschoolers in the Palouse region, by way of a monthly newsletter that contains activities, events, articles, and contact numbers for periodic get-together’s and meetings.
Since the HOPE Newsletter is a ministry, and free of charge to area homeschoolers, we reserve the right to edit articles or deny publication and advertising.

Port Cities Home Educators Homeschool Co-op
Port Cities Home Educators’ main purpose is to support and encourage homeschooling families.
- The PCHE board seeks to honor Christ and uphold Biblical principles in its decision making for the group.
- Membership is open to anyone who wishes to be a part of this group.
- All PCHE meetings will begin with prayer, offered by a board member, seeking God’s direction and blessing.
- PCHE will seek to provide regularly scheduled meetings, current e-mails, and group activities.

Haven Homeschoolers of Mountain Home
Serving Mountain Home and surrounding areas
Our group meets the first Tuesday of each month (Sep-May). We are comprised of Christian families dedicated to homeschooling. Our goal for Haven Homeschoolers is parental support through meetings and the email support group and family support activities that provide family interaction such as: monthly bowling, swimming and park days, yearly Academic Fair, Field Day and opportunities for service projects throughout the school year.

South East Idaho
Pocatello Christian Homeschoolers exists to encourage and support homeschooling families in Pocatello and surrounding communities of South East Idaho. We welcome all homeschoolers regardless of their religious beliefs but we do not promote or engage in any activities that would violate biblical standards.

IdaHome Educators is an association of homeschooling families in southeast Idaho. We meet for monthly activities, distribute a newsletter, and host weekly events such as a mothers’ study group, teen literature group, Co-op, Keepers at Home meetings, and more. We welcome homeschoolers of all faiths, with the understanding that ours is an organization of religious families where all members’ beliefs are respected and taken into consideration as we plan activities and meetings.
Catholic Home Educators of Treasure Valley (CHEofTV)
We are an egroup of Catholic Christian families who homeschool or are investigating homeschooling. We share ideas and resources, list upcoming events and field trips, and support each other in the efforts we all are making to educate our children at home spiritually, intellectually and physically.

Since 1986, the Christian Homeschool Association of Malheur & Payette counties (CHAMP) has been dedicated to serving the Lord by equipping families as they teach their children at home. CHAMP families enjoy an informative monthly newsletter, fellowship, field trips, seminars, cooperative teaching efforts, organized sports, (flag football, volleyball, girls & boys basketball), annual graduation ceremonies, e-mail support, and more.

CHEER is a Bible-believing group dedicated to providing encouragement and support to Christian homeschooling families endeavoring to train up godly children. Our club is a place for Christian home schooled students, ages 12-18, to develop speech and debate skills. We seek to equip our students to become Godly servant leaders who will impact the world for Christ and bring glory to God.
Firm Foundation Speech & Debate Club
The Foundations Homeschool Co-op meets on Mondays at Karcher Church of the Nazarene in Nampa, Idaho for 27 weeks (September-April). We are a group of homeschool families who love the Lord and love learning. We offer classes for all grade levels, in subjects unrestricted by what a typical school might offer.

Providence is a ministry of Calvary Chapel Meridian, Idaho. Calvary Chapel Meridian is a non-denominational church with a heart to support and minister to families who choose to educate their children at home.
The heart of Providence is to provide educational experiences that are an extension of the home setting and provide an opportunity for families to fellowship and support each other in the Lord. We hold a co-op at the church every Friday for twenty-four weeks from September through April. The classes are led by volunteer parents.

MCHE (Middleton Christian Home Educators)
We are a Christian support group located in Middleton, ID whose purpose is to provide support for one another in our shared conviction to educate our children at home. We are organized for the purpose of giving one another encouragement and support; and to share our varying styles, resources, ideas, successes, and failures. Our group meets in two ways from Sept.-May: moms meet once a month on the second Tuesday for a support group and we have a parent participation co-op that meets twice a month on the 2nd and 4th Friday.
