Regional Support Groups

Below is a list of homeschool support groups throughout the state of Idaho. It is divided into four groups: Northern Idaho, Eastern Idaho, Treasure Valley and Western Idaho. If you have organized a group of Christian homeschoolers and would like to be included in this list, please send the information to CHOIS.

Bonner County Christian Home Educators

We are an open homeschool co-op made up of Christian families in the Sandpoint, ID area, and we welcome new members. We meet on Monday mornings over two different ten week sessions (Sept. through Nov. and Jan. through March) at Sandpoint Assembly of God Church. Classes are offered for Kindergarten through twelfth grade, and a nursery/preschool exists to accommodate our littlest ones as well. Parents are encouraged to participate in a book study, to fellowship or pray with other adults, or to be encouraged by homeschool veterans when they are not teaching or helping with a class.

Homeschool Organization of Parent Educators (HOPE of the Palouse)
Moscow/Pullman and surrounding areas

HOPE of the Palouse is a Christian Support Network for homeschoolers in the Palouse region, by way of a monthly newsletter that contains activities, events, articles, and contact numbers for periodic get-together’s and meetings.
Since the HOPE Newsletter is a ministry, and free of charge to area homeschoolers, we reserve the right to edit articles or deny publication and advertising.

Whitehorse Hall 
Moscow/Pullman and surrounding areas

White Horse Hall is an educational cooperative facilitating community and accountability for home-based Christian educators. We meet on Fridays and send home assignments for the week. We have bundled classes in science, history, and writing for elementary students, and a la carte electives (art, chess, literature, Bible, etc.) for upper elementary and middle school students. We also have a la carte classes for junior high students, and we plan to continue through high school. We began in 2010 under Logos School, and continued from 2013 until now as White Horse Hall.

Clark Fork Valley Christian Homeschoolers (CFVCH)
North Idaho

To offer encouragement, share information and provide times of fellowship for Christian homeschool families. Monthly assemblies with public speaking opportunities for the students, family get-togethers and community service projects. Monthly newsletter via email or USPS.

Port Cities Home Educators’ main purpose is to support and encourage homeschooling families.

PCHE Objectives:

  • The PCHE board seeks to honor Christ and uphold Biblical principles in its decision making for the group.
  • Membership is open to anyone who wishes to be a part of this group.
  • All PCHE meetings will begin with prayer, offered by a board member, seeking God’s direction and blessing.
  • PCHE will seek to provide regularly scheduled meetings, current e-mails, and group activities.

Pocatello Christian Homeschoolers exists to encourage and support homeschooling families in Pocatello and surrounding communities of South East Idaho. We welcome all homeschoolers regardless of their religious beliefs but we do not promote or engage in any activities that would violate biblical standards.

IdaHome Educators is an association of homeschooling families in southeast Idaho. We meet for monthly activities, distribute a newsletter, and host weekly events such as a mothers’ study group, teen literature group, Co-op, Keepers at Home meetings, and more. We welcome homeschoolers of all faiths, with the understanding that ours is an organization of religious families where all members’ beliefs are respected and taken into consideration as we plan activities and meetings.

Catholic Home Educators of Treasure Valley (CHEofTV)We are an egroup of Catholic Christian families who homeschool or are investigating homeschooling. We share ideas and resources, list upcoming events and field trips, and support each other in the efforts we all are making to educate our children at home spiritually, intellectually and physically.



Christian Homeschool Association of Malheur & Payette Counties (CHAMP)
Payette and Washington Counties (Idaho), Malheur County, (Oregon) and surrounding areas

Christian Homeschool Association of Malheur & Payette counties (CHAMP) is an association of Christian, homeschool families who participate in the local Christian School Athletic Association. We strive to serve the Lord in our conduct and fellowship while giving our kids an opportunity that traditional homeschooling doesn’t always allow. Homeschoolers in 6th – 12th grades are welcome. We participate in boys’ flag football, girls’ volleyball, boys’ basketball and girls’ basketball and compete with teams in the Treasure Valley area.

Firm Foundation Speech & Debate Club

Our club is a place for Christian home schooled students, ages 12-18, to develop speech and debate skills. We seek to equip our students to become Godly servant leaders who will impact the world for Christ and bring glory to God.

Foundations Co-op

The Foundations Homeschool Co-op meets on Mondays at Karcher Church of the Nazarene in Nampa, Idaho for 27 weeks (September-April). We are a group of homeschool families who love the Lord and love learning. We offer classes for all grade levels, in subjects unrestricted by what a typical school might offer.


Providence Co-op

Providence is a ministry of Calvary Chapel Meridian, Idaho. Calvary Chapel Meridian is a non-denominational church with a heart to support and minister to families who choose to educate their children at home.

The heart of Providence is to provide educational experiences that are an extension of the home setting and provide an opportunity for families to fellowship and support each other in the Lord. We hold a co-op at the church every Friday for twenty-four weeks from September through April. The classes are led by volunteer parents.


Excelsior! Co-op

Welcome to Excelsior! Homeschool Co-op! We are a Christ-centered group of families in Nampa, Idaho, who are working together to teach our children how to live godly, productive lives.


T.E.A.C.H. Co-Op

The T.E.A.C.H. co-op is dedicated to working and learning together to enhance our children’s home schooling experience, support each other in home education, and create friendships to last a lifetime.
